Since 1986, VSSJ has given to the community and still continues to do so in many ways:
Provide informational displays and free literature at numerous libraries, festivals, health expos, and farm markets: NJ and PA vegetarian dining guide, Cape May dining brochure.
Full day which included: speakers, cooking demos, veg lunch & vendors, at Burlington County College, Rowan University, Burlington Meeting House, Collingswood Community Center, Medford Leas.
Many social events such as potluck dinners, picnics, restaurant outings, hikes, bike rides, river cruise.
Provide assistance to other like-minded nonprofits by donating bake sale proceeds, food supply drives, volunteer work days, and more!
Provide support for people in transition to a vegetarian diet, vegan diet, and those simply who want to eat healthier via educational outreach, resources on our website, social media, newsletter, and cooking classes.

Appel Farm Arts & Music Festival, Country Living Fair at Batsto Village, Burlington County Earth Fair, Whitesbog Blueberry Festival, Franklin Township Community Day, Olde Marlton Fall Festival, and the Climate Change Film Festival
